Who we are

Fixxit ([legal entity name], [registered address]) provides an AI maintenance assistant for industrial equipment at app.fixxit.ai, and this website at fixxit.ai. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and the choices you have.

This website

fixxit.ai sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs (such as IP address, time and requested page) to operate and secure the site. If you request a demo, we receive the details you enter in the form, such as your name, work email, company and message.

The Fixxit service

When your organization uses Fixxit, we process:

Account data: name, email address, organization and role.
Customer content: documents your organization uploads, the text extracted from them, and conversations with the assistant.
Usage data: for example, when features are used, processing status and the cost of generating answers.

For customer content, your organization is the controller and Fixxit acts as its processor, under [customer agreement / data processing terms].

How we use personal data

To provide, secure and support the service.
To answer your team's questions from your organization's own documents.
To respond to demo requests and other enquiries.
To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use customer content to train AI models.

AI processing and service providers

Fixxit uses Anthropic's commercial API (Claude) to generate answers from your documents. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, content sent through the API is not used to train its models by default. Other service providers include [hosting provider], [email provider] and [other subprocessors]. A current list is available on request.

Retention

We keep customer content for as long as your organization's account is active, and delete it [within N days] after the account is closed, unless the law requires otherwise. Demo requests are kept for [period].

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
